Fishing Sites:
Scout Lake, Luna Lake, Duck Lake and Horse Creek:
Georgia Fishing License required for anyone over 16 years of age.
Permit Required for
Base Fishing:
Individual $4, Family $7, Guest $2 |
Catch and Possession Limitations:
Species Amount Legal Size
Catfish 6 to 8 inches or larger
Bass 6 to 12 inches or larger
Bream 25 Any size
The possession limit for any combination
of catfish and bass will be no more than six per 24-hour period.

Eligibility:
Active duty and retired military personnel, civilian employees, their family members and bona fide guests are eligible to fish on
RAFB. Guests must be accompanied by the sponsor.

Other Rules:
1 - No live minnows
2 - No frog gigging
3 - No seines
4 - No more than two fishing lines can be used
5 - Boats with gasoline or other internal combustion motors are prohibited on base.

Conservation and Safety:
1 - An adult must accompany any person less than 12 years of age.
2 - Swimming or wading prohibited.
3 - Boats are required to have sufficient Coast Guard approved Personal Floatation Devices
(PFD's). Children under 12 and all nonswimmers are required to wear PFD's while in boats on RAFB waterways.
