What
Is The Thrift Shop?
The
Robins Air Force Base Thrift Shop is a nonprofit organization operated
solely by volunteers. All
profits from sales go to charitable organizations on base or in the local
community.
The Thrift Shop is open for business every Wednesday
from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 - 6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and
on the first Saturday of the month from
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Consignments
are taken from open until the 1/2 hour before close.
What
Type of Items Do People Consign?
The Thrift Shop contains
something for everyone.
We have five rooms which contain baby items, videos, jewelry,
house wares, clothing, books, furniture, exercise and
sporting equipment, and uniforms.
Furniture sells the best.
Items that sell the least/slowest are
clothing, shoes, and purses. Each
day the items we are not taking
are listed in our consignment area.
